On the 18th of August I am packing my bags and checking out of the Dunstanburgh Castle Hotel after spending 8 months working on changing the layout of their kitchen, the menu and the whole dynamics of how their food is produced. I am very proud of what I have achieved and I am very grateful to the chefs who worked alongside me during this time to help make the new kitchen format work. I also would like to thank all the staff outside the kitchen who have been fun to be around and I wish them all the best for the future. (Especially the front of house girl who used to rub her boobs on my back in order to get a larger staff meal. Ha ha !)
We received some nice Tripadvisor reviews (and some not so positive ones too ! ) but this one the other week made me feel really good and I can now say mission accomplished.
What next for me ?................no idea.......ha ha !
