On February 12th 2011 I decided I wanted to start to have a go at a bit of creative writing and started this food blog as a vehicle to learn this craft. After 3 years of developing this hobby I am so pleased with the way it looks and feel my writing has come on leaps and bounds over the years. I know as Food blogs go there are thousands out there which are better, more knowledgeable and look like they were created by the design team at Vogue ! But this is my blog. Its about my journey in Cooking, tasting, writing and photographing food something I love to do. I have compiled a montage of some of the pictures from the last three years as a celebration and a look back at some of the people I have been fortunate to meet and some of the experiences I have had. So thank you for reading my blog and on the whole most of the comments I have had have been very kind and supportive.Occasionally the odd death threat creeps by but what the heck you cannot please everyone all the time. So here's to a lot more years to come ! Thank you and as the Great shop keeper Apu keeps saying in the Simpson's...."Do come again...".....Enjoy !

Forgive me Father for I have sinned. I ate all this with a pot of Chicken gravy which was a lovely light brown colour and was perfumed with Thyme and a background taste of white wine. The skin was succulent and sinful. I picked every bit of meat from its body and gained a weird pleasure sensation when it was too hot to handle which did not stop me from touching it. Its legs parted from its body easily which was delightful ! Do you have roast chicken in heaven God ? If not shall I bring some when I come ?
